After going 30 years without a bike and successfully raising a couple of kids, it was my turn to spend some time enjoying a former hobby. But riding a motorcycle is much more than a hobby. And a Harley even more different - it's a culture. If you are fortunate enough to find the right bike and the right dealer, your experience will be special. Mine has from the moment I walked in to Open Road. I was met by Mike at the door. I didn't know what I was looking for (there were probably a dozen new and nearly as many used HD's in front of me). We didn't look at bikes until Mike and I discussed my expectations. Since then, I have "dressed up" a Softail Deluxe, Street Glide, Road Glide Ultra, Ultra Limited, and I am currently the proud owner of a 2014 Limited. The Open Road family, from Pete & Lori throughout the dealership is unmatched anywhere. Mike, Scotty and Wheels, Taylor and Jake, Brittany and Monica - from every aspect of ownership of a Harley, your needs are a priority. I live 15 miles from one Harley dealer and work 1 mile from another dealer. I get my bikes from Open Road, customize them there, have them serviced there. They treat you like you are their most important customer every time you walk in their door. My wife and I broke down one night four hours from home. We were able to get home with friends who were fortunately in the area on vacation. I got in touch with Wheels at Open Road. 8 hours later my bike was safely back in Fond du Lac. Maybe there is another dealer with this kind of service - somewhere. Maybe. I am grateful that MY dealer is Open Road and they did. Thanks Pete, for putting together such a great team. I owe you thousand of miles of pure riding satisfaction.
